Closing a Gap Between Teeth: Bonding, Veneers or Braces?

Bonding, veneers and braces all come up as answers to the same question: what can be done about a space between the front teeth. This article takes them one at a time. It does not rank them.
Gaps or spaces between your teeth are among the reasons people choose cosmetic dentistry (Cleveland Clinic).
Bonding
Dental bonding is used to repair chips, fill gaps or change the shape and color of a tooth (Cleveland Clinic).
Some practical points: bonding typically doesn't require enamel removal, and you can usually get it done in a single office visit (Cleveland Clinic).
There are trade-offs: bonding doesn't resist stains as well as porcelain restorations, it can chip over time, and it is not as long-lasting as other options, like veneers or crowns (Cleveland Clinic).
Veneers
Veneers also can mask the gaps in your smile (American Dental Association (MouthHealthy)).
Braces
Braces can correct gapped teeth (Cleveland Clinic).
Where to take it from here
Nothing here says which option is right for you. That depends on the teeth in question, so it is a conversation to have with a dentist; what this article gives you is the vocabulary to start it.
